Is Jesus (issa) Returning

by Farouk A. Peru

Is Isaa returning? What does the Quran actually say about it?

ACCORDING TO THE QURAN, on the day of Resurrection, Isa Rasulullah will be unaware that people worshiped him and all messengers will be unaware what the response to their prophethood was like. Therefore, all the stories of Isa’s return before the day of Resurrection, and all the stories of Muhammad or any other messenger knowing what is to come for their community or what their community has done between their time and the day of Resurrection are false.

*Muhammad Rasulullah*
46:9 Say, “I am not something original among the messengers, **nor do I know what will be done with me or with you.** I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner.”

*Isaa Rasulullah*
5:116 And when Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah? He will say: Glory be to You, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to; if I had said it, You would indeed have known it; You know what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely You are the great Knower of the unseen things.

*All Messengers*
5:109 [Be warned of] the Day when Allah will assemble the messengers and say, “What was the response you received?” They will say, “We have no knowledge. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen”

If the ahadith describing the end times are correct and Isa will return shortly before the last day then ask yourself how he can say on the day of judgement that he has no idea what people did after his prophethood. Bear in mind the ahadith explicitly state that he will return and therefore disprove and denounce Christianity, reject the worship of those who take him as god beside Allah/son of Allah, defeat the ‘anti christ/ false messiah/ al messihu ad-dajjal, establish the laws of Islam worldwide, and that wealth among all people will increase so much that one would not be able to find someone who is in need of charity. Then how is it that he will soon after be called to account on judgment day and say he had no knowledge what the people did?

Also ask yourself what is the point of Allah telling us that prophet Muhammad is khatm al nabiyeen (seal of the prophets). Surely if Isa is returning then he would be the seal of the prophets, as he is a prophet. To shed even more light on the inconsistencies of the ahadith, consider this puzzle: the ahadith not only label prophet Muhammad as khatm al nabiyeen as the Quran does, but they go further in labeling him khatm al mursaleen (seal of those sent forth)! Yet we are told Allah will send forth Al Mahdi and Isa. This does not add up.

Bear in mind that the same words Isa said were also said about Nabi Yahya
(19:15) And peace be upon him [Yaha] the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive.

(19:30) [Isa said] “peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I die, and on the day I am raised to life.”

Should Isa have not said “peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I am raised, and on the day I am sent back, and on the day I die, and on the day I am raised again!” (Do you get my point?) But that’s not what we find. We find the mentioning of Isa and Yahya’s death and raising to be the same as for all of us- birth, life, death, resurrection.

Finally, please see the picture below and look up the verses in the quran to confirm. Everywhere tawaf is used in the quran, they accurately translated it as death and mutawaffika as ’cause to die’ except for the verse where Allah says it to Isaa; they (sunnis and shia alike/hadith followers) erroneously translate mutawaffika as “I will take thee” whereas it is actually saying “cause thee to die.” This is a pathetic and obvious attempt to cover up the fact that the Quran’s description of Isa is far different from the Hadith and Christian version.

To make it even easier for you to confirm, see the link below in which all verses mentioning tawaf are listed. Notice the drastically different meaning they applied to the verses regarding Isaa. Quite a shocking display of dishonesty from the praised and revered scholars of our time! Allah is certainly aware of what they do. Scholars are humans and therefore they make mistakes and some even knowingly lie and distort The Book. Such had happened for every community after every prophet. Then how will you judge the truth from the falsehood if not with the Quran?
Muslims, I only invite you to judge ahadith in light of the quran so do not hate me or curse me for that, but simply revere Allah and do your duty of either confirming or rejecting what I say. Salamun alaikum
